Hi there, I’m Emma!

Originally from Gunnison, CO, I now live in Denver. After college, I spent some time working in travel and at a virtual school and I loved working with people at each step of the way. I now spend my days working with students in a virtual setting, helping them navigate their academics, work hard to understand difficult concepts, earn great grades, and pursue various career goals. I very much enjoy coaching my students in doing good for the world and working towards each of their goals. I also work as a content creator and community outreach organizer at Orsch, an online educational company working to increase engagement in school. Additionally, I am currently in my fifth year working for the Colorado Avalanche.

 

Outside of work, I volunteer with a few wonderful organizations to assist in the facilitation of multiple patient advocacy programs and events. I work as an intern for a genetic counseling practice helping with their patient advocacy and I have been part of the development and maintenance of the BE KIND Project with Some1 Like You, a patient advocacy organization.

 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our sweet & silly cat. I love hiking, skiing, spending time with friends and family, and traveling. I have a passion for seeing the world and can't wait to be back out exploring!
